About NCVPA

The North Carolina Voter Protection Alliance (NCVPA) is a permanent hub dedicated to defending the right to vote and protecting fair elections across our state. Launched at a pivotal moment for North Carolina, NCVPA is committed to building long-term voter protection infrastructure that defends fair elections and strengthens public confidence in our democracy.

NCVPA focuses on the systems, decisions, and actions that shape how elections are run in North Carolina.

• Election administration & oversight: Monitoring and engaging with election officials and boards to promote fair, lawful, and transparent administration.
• Voter protection & rapid response: Working in coordination with partners to strengthen the on-the-ground infrastructure — including poll observers, volunteers, and legal support — to protect voters before, during and after elections.
• Accountability & enforcement: Calling out abuses of power and taking action when election laws are misused or selectively enforced.
• Information & counter-disinformation: Providing clear, accurate information about how elections work and responding quickly when false narratives are used to confuse or suppress voters.

NCVPA is building a statewide alliance to protect the vote — and we need people ready to step in.
